With the power of Jin Jiyan Azadî, it is time to build the communal society

In the democratic society process we have entered with this offensive, around the values pioneered by Sara — comrade Sakine Cansız, who summed up her life with the words "my life was always struggle" — a strong unity and solidarity of women is developing, in Kurdistan and the Middle East as well as on the universal stage.

This year, as YJK-S, we call on all women, mothers and friends to take part strongly in the 13th Sakine Cansız Festival in Switzerland and to make it their own.

Sakine Cansız (Sara) – a woman, a revolutionary, a rebel with red hair. She is the Rosa Luxemburg of the Kurdish people. Her whole life was a struggle; with these words she described herself.

Sara is the name of all women who rose up against persecution, fascism and the darkness in the Middle East. "My greatest dream is peace all over the world", she declared.
